Women entry issue not limited to Sabarimala Temples alone, includes other religions: Supreme Court




While referring the review petitions challenging Sabarimala temple verdict to a larger bench, the Supreme Court said the issue of restrictions on women's entry in religious places i.e temples or mosques isn't just restricted to Sabarimala temple alone, but prevalent in other religions also. The larger bench of Seven judges will also decide on issues relating to women's entry into mosques, practice of female genital mutilation, it added.
